| Pastoral Council |

All people living in the parish community, simply by virtue of their baptism, are fully and equally part of the local church. The purpose of the parish Pastoral Council is to look after the spiritual and pastoral needs of the people of the parish. It consists of a representative group of the laity who, under the guidance of the parish priest, nurture and strengthen the faith of the community. A Pastoral Council is distinguished from other community groups by its spiritual and pastoral focus, and is motivated by a desire to build up the Kingdom of God. The third such Pastoral Council was inaugurated in our parish in October 2009 and will serve for four years. Each of the members of the Pastoral Council are drawn from five sub-groups active in the parish:
